How did OXYGEN help Mondial Relay invade the digital sphere?
Mondial Relay is one of the leaders in parcel delivery and supports the development of e-commerce in France and Europe. Specialised in delivery to individuals, the company offers the most comprehensive range of parcel distribution solutions of any size and any weight in Points Relais®, Drive and Home.
As part of an overhaul of their Marketing/Communication strategy, Mondial Relay chose to entrust the management of its reputation to the OXYGEN agency in Lille. The objective was clear: To bring new life to its Press Relations and exist more on the web.
The plan of action:
To meet the Mondial Relay team's need for proximity, OXYGEN proposed a local team based at the Lille agency to Mondial Relay. The recommended strategy was to bring together the tools in the framework of digital accompaniment and very balanced, thought out PR designed to serve the reputation of the brand with its target. A driving force behind proposals, OXYGEN completely reworked Mondial Relay's PR scheme to inject it with high added value actions. At the same time as significant background work with traditional media to reinforce Mondial Relay's visibility, OXYGEN sought to consolidate the company's web presence by:
- Targeting online media and influential blogs related to Mondial Relay's business, which was not the case before.
- Establishing Mondial Relay's presence on LinkedIn, a network that's popular with the company's BtoB targets: OXYGEN took over managing the account for a few months, the time to define the editorial line, identify relay profiles and energise the page. Training on LinkedIn was also provided to all Mondial Relay's sales staff to raise awareness of the value of the tool and make them the brand's first ambassadors.
Working on the Mondial Relay brand image with influential BtoC bloggers, in particular on fashion & home subjects. In addition to regular One-to-one contact, a bloggers event was organised by OXYGEN in early December in Paris around the theme of gift wrap. This event was an opportunity for the brand to introduce them to its CtoC offerings as well as build a lasting relationship with these influencers.
Today, Mondial Relay effectively occupies the media landscape in all media consulted by BtoB and BtoC targets of the company, whether they are traditional, digital or social. Mondial Relay's web presence has been significantly strengthened and the digital culture has conquered the entire team, management and sales staff. The results obtained were analysed in a detailed report thus meeting Mondial Relay's ROI measurement needs.
