Showcasing an innovative project to strengthen Voltalia’s positioning in a rapidly evolving market

Challenge

Objectives

Solution

In a context where renewable energy is at the heart of both economic and environmental challenges, Voltalia needed to assert its role as a pioneer in the agrivoltaics sector.
The challenge was twofold : standing out in a highly competitive media landscape while making a still little-known topic accessible to the general public.

Identify and engage key journalists from national and international outlets (business, environmental, trade, and general media).

Build Voltalia’s reputation among its B2B and institutional targets.

Position Voltalia as a leading player in the fields of energy transition and agricultural innovation.

To address these challenges, Oxygen implemented a targeted media relations strategy centred around a key milestone : a press visit to the Cabanon site.

The goal : to offer an immersive on-site experience that would allow media to see, understand, and share Voltalia’s agrivoltaic expertise.

Plan

  • A targeted press invitation to engage the right media outlets

The agency drafted and distributed a tailored press invitation to a select group of journalists from environmental, business, and general news outlets, identified beforehand as strategic partners to showcase Voltalia’s expertise.

  • A press visit organised from A to Z

Oxygen managed the full logistical organisation of the Cabanon plant visit : coordinating transportation, welcoming guests on site, and designing an optimised schedule to ensure a smooth, immersive, and engaging experience for journalists.

  • A press release highlighting on-the-ground innovation

To support the event, a press release was created and distributed, showcasing the project’s technical strengths, its environmental impact, and Voltalia’s driving role in local and agricultural development.

  • Media training for impactful public speaking

Ahead of the visit, two media training sessions were conducted with Voltalia’s spokespeople.

The objective : to refine key messages, anticipate sensitive questions, and strengthen the clarity and authenticity of their media interactions.
